Hey, tyre vs. tire. What is the difference? Seems to me like its just the British English way of writing it, but I don't want to live with this ignorance.

I think it is just british vs english. Sorta like colour in England and color in english.

Well there are people i've talked to on here from south-america, UK, greenland, etc. So i'm not too surprised. Even though it is a U.S. based website.

Oh I wasn't referring to this site. I was talking about some other random sites. From a car owner forum (you know, the ones for specific models of a car), tire shops (us-based) and other sites. Although you do have a fair point
